About the wine
At the end of the 1980s, the Benito Hernando brothers Fernando, Gaspar and Javier set out to restore from scratch the 40 hectares of vineyards taken over by their parents, with vineyards in Curiel de Duero, Pesquera, Peñafiel and Fompedraza and the bodega, in order to realize their vision of high-quality wines. Tasting note
The fruity bouquet of black cherry, chocolate and cooked blackberry shows a complex aroma character and plenty of culinary potential. The present nuances of prune, clove and marmalade create their individual texture. With subdued, pleasantly developed tannins, a strong body and present acidity, this fruity red wine presents its flawless structure.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with hearty beef and lamb dishes, pot roast, spicy semi-hard and hard cheeses.

Aged for 18 months in American and French oak barrels, then stored for 32 months in bottle
