Tasting note
The barren, calcareous soil, the special microclimate and the very old vines provide the conditions for an expressive, intensive Blaufränkisch to thrive here, in the Mariental Valley. A scent of black wild cherry, blackberry, eucalyptus, forest soil and fine fennel seeds dominates the glass. Elegant and gentle with impressive fruity depth with pointed acidity, dark chocolate mousse and raspberry pulp complete the crowning finish.
