About the wine
Bodegas Castelo de Medina was founded in 1996. The castle-like winery is located in the heart of D.O. Rueda. The winery cultivates 180 hectares of vines, all of which are owned by the company. The vineyards have an average age of 20 years. The main grape varieties are Verdejo and Sauvignon Blanc. From this white grape variety, the Bodegas produces white wines of exceptional quality year after year.
Tasting note
Clear crystalline yellow color. Intense scent of citrus and exotic fruits. Very aromatic and fruity wine with good aromatic persistence. Nice minerality and good acidity at the end.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with aperitif, seafood, melon.
