About the wine

With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Bertinga masters this red wine in the blooming and fertile landscape of Tuscany. The Flaschenpost team guarantees a culinary experience when you serve this Merlot with slightly spicy red meat or duck.
Tasting note
Bertinga is the “Grand Vin” of the winery. Less than 15,000 bottles are produced. The wine embodies the unique characteristics of the terroir of Gaiole in Chianti. The Bertinga shows aromas of dark fruits, minerality and undertones of cement. The tannins are supple and well integrated. Full-bodied and strong. Extremely long and soft.
Culinary recommendation

Vinification
Fermented in concrete tanks, aged for 18 months in French barriques and Austrian tonneaux. Only 10% new wood.
