About the wine
The origins of the Pecchenino winery date back to the 18th century. It has always been owned by the family and is always passed on from father to offspring. Since 1987, it has been owned by brothers Orlando and Attila Pecchenino. The winery is located south of Barolo and comprises 26 hectares of vineyards around their manor house in Dogliani, and they also own a 3-hectare farm in Monforte d'Alba, where they cultivate the vines for their Barolos at prime locations and press the young wine.
Tasting note
The Barolo Le Coste Di Monforte DOCG scent spectrum of anise has a complex aroma character and a lot of pleasure potential. The distinctive notes of roses and cherries create their individual texture. A fruity red wine with a strong body and outstanding acidity, which develops its complex structure with rich tannins on the tongue and on the palate.

Flaschenpöstler recommends this Barolo Le Coste Di Monforte DOCG for pizza, burrata and beef.
