About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Guidobono has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and sunny landscape of Piedmont. Give yourself a treat for the senses with the fine Barolo Le Coste di Monforte DOCG from 2013!
Tasting note
The origin is already evident in the nose: The aroma palette ranges from cherries, raspberries, wild berries to violets, sage to berry liqueur, licorice and cedarwood. Juicy, ripe tannins in combination with refreshing fruit are added to the scene. The classic style of this Barolo impresses with varietal character and straightness. The finish is strict, fruity and long. It leaves a typical sensory impression.
