About the wine
On the nose, remarkable fruity and floral aromas with pleasant spicy notes. On the palate, fine berry fruit with subtle balsamic notes. The wine is very well-structured with a generous body and present but ripe tannins.

Tasting note
The bouquet of anise shows a complex aroma structure and a lot of pleasure potential. The outstanding notes of roses and cherries create their individual texture. A fruity red wine with a strong body and outstanding acidity, which unfolds its complex structure with rich tannins on the tongue and palate. This top wine won the prize: 2/3 glasses of Gambero Rosso.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with meat dishes with extract-rich, dark sauces, grilled meat, steak and roast beef, and game feathers.
Vinification
Maceration on skins in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature for approx. 12 days before the grapes are pressed and the alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel is completed (approx. 20 days). Around December, the wine is transferred to small oak barrels, 30% of which are new and 70% are used.
