About the wine
With the snappy Nebbiolo 2012 — Barolo cru Bricco Boschis DOC, you can offer your guests something very special. The fertile and blooming landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Tenuta Vitivinicola Cavallotto conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you serve this Nebbiolo with truffle risotto or pizza.
Tasting note
This Barolo delights with its captivating scent of ripe cherries, dried plums, sweet spicy notes, some licorice, rose petals and tea. On the palate, again, lots of delicately juicy fruit, a pleasant and warm-toned spiciness, the perfect balance between acidity and tannin, a complex, almost endless finish. A wine with great ageing potential.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Piedmontese specialities, hearty meat dishes (game, beef, lamb, rabbit, poultry, etc.), stews and stews
Vinification
After spontaneous fermentation, the wine is aged for 3-3.5 years in large Slavonian oak barrels before maturing in the bottle for 1 year.
