About the wine
Our story begins in 1956 with grandparents Guido and Giuseppina. The two great-grandsons Alessandro and Alberto “Berto” now own 28 hectares, and they continue to run the winery with love and passion. I owe my name to them both. When they were kids, Alessandro stole his younger brother's pizza. The father saw this and rebuked Alessandro. “Give the pizza back per (for) Berto! ” When the third generation searched for a name, the memory came back and I was born.

Tasting note
I am a light and tasty red wine with character. My wonderful scent of licorice, laurel and red fruits will beguile your senses. Juicy and fresh, I will enchant your taste buds.
Culinary recommendation
Enjoy me with poultry, barbecues, pasta or even as an accompaniment to sausage and cheese.
Vinification
My roots are firmly established in clay and limestone soils. After carefully picking my grapes by hand, I first enjoy a maceration of 3-4 days at 26°C and then go on the wellness program in the stainless steel tank for 8 months.
