About the wine
This outstanding red wine 2016 — Barbera d'Alba is a hit down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Sunny and picturesque landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Cantina Borgogno conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Barbera is ideal to serve with pasta or strong, dark meat.
Tasting note
Since this Barbera is traditionally aged in large-volume oak barrels, its fruity body is not overly covered by wood aromas. The result is impressive with the fresh aroma of cherries, wild berries and plums.

Goes well with cheese, beef, venison and Italian cuisine.
