About the wine
Do you already know the biting red wine Barbera D'Alba Vigna della Madre DOC with the 2015 vintage? If not, it's time! Picturesque and blooming landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Ettore Germano conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Barbera can be served very well with strong, dark meat or stews.

Tasting note
Dark ruby red. Intense ripe fruit on the nose, berry with a slight vanilla note. Powerful structure on the palate. The fine acidity underlines the aromatic finish
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pasta with strong sauces, semi-hard cheese and salami
Vinification
Fermentation 7-8 days on the skins for good extraction of color and tannins. The wine is then aged for a year in small French oak barrels. It is stored in the bottle for at least 6 months before being sold
