About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this biting red wine 2017 Barbera d'Alba DOC. The winemaker from the Italian winery Azienda Agricola Sordo Giovanni has absolutely mastered his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the blooming and sunny landscape of Piedmont. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Barbera is excellent to serve with Piedmontese dishes or stews.

Tasting note
Rich and inviting dark berry scent, blackberries, a few violets and a hint of chocolate accompanied by vanilla and roasted aromas. On the palate, clear juicy full fruit, embedded in silky tannins, which give beautiful structure. A true discovery of classic Piedmontese wine culture.
