About the wine
The Rivetto family winery was founded in 1902 by Giovanni Rivetto and is now managed by Enrico Rivetto in the fourth generation. The winery is located between the municipalities of Serralunga d'Alba and Sinio, right in the heart of the Barolo area. Tasting note
Deep ruby red. On the nose, aromas of plums and compote. Very powerful on the palate. Low tannin. Long and voluminous aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Ideal with game, game fowl, pasta with meat sauce, grilled meat.
Vinification
The Barbera d'Alba DOC Zio Nando was expanded in a steel tank.
