About the wine
If we can offer something special for Christmas 2022, it's this outstanding red wine 2019 — Barbera d'Alba DOC Superiore Regiaveja. Sunny and blooming landscapes of Piedmont give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Bovio conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Culinary tip from Flaschenpöstler: This Barbera can be served very well with stews or strong, dark meat.
Tasting note
It stays in the memory: its deep ruby red gives every occasion an extravagant touch. Barbera d'Alba DOC Superiore Regiaveja's fine scent spectrum of lavender, spices and vanilla shows complex aroma characteristics and plenty of potential for enjoyment. The striking shades of black cherry and plum create their individual texture. With round and pleasant tannins, a strong body and outstanding acidity, this red wine shows its masterful texture.

It goes well with racy and spicy pasta dishes, red meat, stews, roasts and ripe hard cheeses.
