About the wine
Fertile and blooming landscapes of Lombardy give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Ferghettina conjures up this red wine with refinement and experience. We have a special, provocative Merlot from 2011 for you, which inspires enthusiasm among many wine connoisseurs. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Merlot is excellent to serve with duck or slightly spicy red meat.
Tasting note
A pure Merlot from the Franciacorta area. Very focused with a strong structure and great elegance. Complex scent of blackberries and raspberries, cinnamon, pepper and licorice.
Culinary recommendation
Goes perfectly with poultry, mushroom dishes and grilled meats.
