About the wine
This present Tempranillo 2019 — Arrocal Crianza DO is a triumph down to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! Enchanting and graceful landscapes of the Duero Valley (Castilla y Leon) give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodegas Arrocal creates this red wine with refinement and experience. Flaschenpöstler tip: Pair this Tempranillo with barbecue or polenta.
Tasting note
Intense fruity nose with aromas of wild berries, ripe plums, cherries and fine wood notes of vanilla, coffee and spices. On the palate, with soft, velvety tannins and balanced acidity — everything is very balanced and balanced. Persistent aftertaste with lots of berry fruit and subtle roasted spices.
Culinary recommendation
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Arrocal Crianza DO goes well with polenta, pizza and lasagna.
Vinification
Aged for twelve months in oak barrels and then in bottle for a further twelve months.
