About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Masi is absolutely proficient in his craft. Elegance and finesse are the characteristics of this red wine, which originates in the enchanting and blooming countryside of Veneto. With the dominant Corvina 2017 — Angelorum Recioto della Valpolicella classico DOCG, nuances and accents are redefined. Tasting note
Dense, almost impenetrable ruby. Ripe black cherries on the nose. orange jam, rum pot. Tightly woven and complex. Complex and very pleasant on the palate. The perfect balance between sweetness and acidity. Long, aromatic aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with pastries, panettone or a piece of gorgonzola.
Vinification
This sweet wine made from dried grapes is a real rarity. During the drying of grapes — called “appassimento” — each berry loses 40% of its weight.
