About the wine

Tasting note
The vines grow on limestone and clay soils 350 — 420 m above sea level. These excellently positioned vineyards are located in the heart of the Rosso Piceno Superiore production zone and are the share capital of this estate. It's a modern-style wine, but it's a true Italian and not boring at all. Only the best grapes from low-yielding crops are aged in barriques. The result is deep dark, powerful, with aromas of plums, wild berries and spices.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with vincisgrassi (pasta casserole with meat sauce), red meat, game, lamb stew, lentil dishes, lasagne verdi, gnocchi ai quattro formaggi, recent hard cheeses.
