About the wine

The Parrini family winery is located in the Tuscan Maremma, near the town of Grosseto in southern Tuscany. The vineyards are located at an altitude of up to 380 meters above sea level and impress with their originality and Mediterranean sweetness. The continuous, cool sea breezes that blow through the vines from the nearby Mediterranean, together with the very hot summer days, give the wines exceptional depth and versatility. Local grapes such as Pugnitello, Sangiovese, Alicante brought from Spain in the 17th century and the international grape varieties common for Bordeaux blends, such as Merlot and Petit Verdot, grow on the 18 hectares of primarily clayey and calcareous soils.
