Tasting note
With a clean and bright color with bluish reflections, this wine shows abundant aromas of red and wild fruits. Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Amona Tempranillo goes perfectly with red meat, barbecue and lasagna. Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 14°-17°C.
Vinification
Hand-picked Tempranillo grapes from small vineyard plots planted on lime-clay soils were fermented separately in small stainless steel tanks. Some of the grapes were fermented using the traditional process of carbonic acid reconstruction, which is very common in Rioja Alavesa.
