About the wine
With experience and intuition, the winemaker from the Italian winery Venturini Massimino masters this red wine in the beautiful and blooming landscape of Veneto. With this powerful Corvina 2011 — Amarone della Valpolicella DOC Campomasua, the term taste takes on a new meaning. Flaschenpöstler tip: Combine this Corvina with roast or venison.
Tasting note
In the glass, this Amarone shows a wonderful ruby red color. The nose notices dark berries, ripe black fruits and aromatic toasted notes. On the palate, ripe cherries, blackberries, dried fruits such as raisins and cedarwood.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with beef, venison and grills.
Vinification
Blend of 70% Corvina, 20% Rondinella and 10% Corvinone, which were dried until February and then fermented with 45 days of maceration. This is followed by ageing in oak barrels for 36 months, and a final six-month bottle aging.
