About the wine
Fertile and beautiful landscapes of the Upper Ebro give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Spanish winery Bodega Alegre Valgañon conjures up this red wine with refinement and sensitivity. Do you already know the present Tempranillo Alegre Valgañon Tinto DOC Rioja with the vintage 2018? If not, it's time! The Flaschenpöstler guarantee a culinary experience when you serve this Tempranillo with barbecue or polenta.
Tasting note
Ruby red with aromas of black cherries, raspberries, plums, currants and slightly spicy notes of coffee, chocolate and pepper. Pleasant fullness on the palate without being sumptuous. The tannins are accessible and will integrate even better as the bottle ages. The aftertaste is persistent and characterized by red fruits.

Von den Flaschenpöstlern empfohlen: Alegre Valgañon Tinto DOC Rioja harmoniert ausgezeichnet mit Lasagne, Polenta und Pizza.
Vinification
The hand-picked grapes are first spontaneously fermented in stainless steel tanks with around 15% stems. The Rioja is then aged for 14 months in barriques and 500-liter barrels.
