Francesco Marra and Francesco Winspeare, true to their commitment to native grape varieties, of which hardly any of the known and unknown are missing, also produce an Aleatico. The ancient variety can hardly be found anymore, perhaps because it is demanding and irregular in yield. But anyone who knows how to guide them and develop the wine gains something stunning, with nothing to compare. The Aleatico develops a wonderful richness of aromas, reminiscent of dry fruits and exotic spices. On the palate, there is a well-balanced acidity with subtle tannins and elegant, juicy sweetness.
