Picturesque landscapes of Burgenland give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Austrian winery Heribert Bayer conjures up this white wine with refinement and sensitivity. If you are looking for something special, then you shouldn't miss out on this strong white wine 2015 — Albatros Ruster Chardonnay. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this Chardonnay with fish with herbs or goat cheese.
Tasting note
A distinguished, very clear, unadulterated character wine, fine, smoky flint notes, hints of white flowers and delicately roasted pine nuts, stimulating structure - strongly influenced by the sparseness of the vines and soil, enormously mineral. Expressive wine with lots of development potential and very exciting for knowledgeable connoisseurs.
