About the wine
Planeta is indisputably one of the biggest winegrowing companies in Sicily. Since the 1980s, the family business has been steadily on its way to the top; everything that Alessio, Francesca, Santi and Francesco, the latest Planeta generation, touch seems to be successful. The large but manageable wine range from four wineries on the Sicilian south coast impresses with its perfect design and high varietal specificity. These include wines from both local and international grape varieties.

Tasting note
Straw yellow with green reflections, a fragrant scent of white peaches and ripe honeydew melon followed by sweet notes reminiscent of white chocolate. Grecanico gives the wine a sea scent and a fine salty taste, full and soft on the palate, supported by harmonious acidity. Long finale with floral notes.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with Mediterranean dishes, fish and seafood appetizers, light soups and risotto. Ideal with grilled or fried fish.
Vinification
Temperature-controlled fermentation in stainless steel tanks at 15°C for 12 days.
