About the wine
The winemaker from the Italian winery Feudo Disisa masters this red wine with sensitivity and intuition in the fertile and blooming landscape of Sicily. If we can offer something special for Christmas 2021, it's this dominant Shiraz 2018 — Adhara DOC. Flaschenpost team promises a dining experience if you offer this Shiraz with roasted vegetables or game.
Tasting note
Intense ruby red with violet reflections in the color, in the bouquet strong notes of cherry, licorice and cocoa. The palate is full, persistent and harmonious.
Culinary recommendation
Recommended by Flaschenpöstlern: Adhara DOC goes well with game, roasted vegetables and barbecue. Our recommendation: The ideal drinking temperature for the red wine is a slightly chilled 18°C.
Vinification
Fermentation at a controlled temperature (27°C). Maceration for 15 days. Malolactic fermentation in steel. Refinement 30% in barrique, 70% in steel. Bottle maturation 120 days.
