About the wine

The historical roots of wine production on the Klosterhof go back to the 16th century. The farm has been owned by the Huwiler family since 1905. In 2002, they resumed traditional wine production on the monastery farm and planted their own vineyard. Since the beginning of 2022, the winery has been managed in the 5th generation by Priscilla and Noel Huwiler, together with a small, expert team, they have cultivated six hectares with 15 different grape varieties. The trained winemaker Noel Huwiler attaches great importance to careful handling of the grapes; selective manual harvesting results in aromatic, clear wines that are convincing.
