About the wine
This powerful Cabernet Sauvignon 2005 — AAA Marques de Grinon Dom. De Valdepusa DO is a triumph to the last drop in the truest sense of the word! The winemaker from the Spanish winery Dominio de Valdepusa Marqués de Griñon grows this wine in the countryside. Culinary tip from Flaschenpost team: This Cabernet Sauvignon is ideal to be served with red meat or Gruyère burgers.
Tasting note
Opaque dark red with black core Pure, complex bouquet, spicy, of Maggi herb, floral reminiscent of peonies, fresh griot and sour cherry aroma. Present, soft start, balanced tannins, strong, slightly warming on the palate. Strong style with a Francophile touch, terroir.
Culinary recommendation
Goes well with deer medallion in an elderberry chocolate sauce, lamb gigot and entrecote.
