About the wine

Monastery and winegrowing have been a single unit for the highly renowned South Tyrolean flagship wine company Muri-Gries for centuries. In addition to the remarkable Lagrein, the stately, beautiful winery also produces excellent white wine. The Weissburgunder or South Tyrolean Terlaner is aged in steel tanks and in large wooden barrels and impresses with its astonishing richness and fresh notes of exotic fruits and grapefruit.

Tasting note
Weissburgunder is one of the highest quality grape varieties in the world. The wine has a pleasant, unobtrusive bouquet and is characterized by its fruity, balanced acidity in the body. It has nice fullness with a slight apple shade.
