About the wine
It was the famous oenologist Javier Rodríguez who came up with the idea of maturing wine in a whisky barrel. This stroke of genius perfectly tames the harsher notes of Tempranillos, the main wine from the Toro region of Spain. Rarely have we enjoyed such smoothness and aromas in a glass of wine.

Tasting note
Very aromatic wine, with notes of ripe black fruit, spices, chocolate and roasted aromas (smoke). Structured on the palate, but very fat and with sweet tannins, lots of volume and a pleasant aftertaste.
Culinary recommendation
Wonderful with red meats, hunter stew and ripe half-karted cheese.
