About the wine

This plot borders the one in La Frambosière, where rich red wines are produced. In Clos Rochette, a plot surrounded by a wall, the soils are particularly compact and difficult to cultivate. This is because the soil is characterized by many small stones (petites roches) (hence its name). Clos Rochette is a monopoly of 4 ha 38 a. The vines were planted in 1960, 1987 and 1999. The soils are clayey and calcareous.
