About the wine
Pierre-Henri Morel has always had a passion for food, wines and his homeland, the Rhone Valley. He has worked for renowned winemaker Michel Chapoutier since 2000. Together, they founded Domaine Pierre-Henri Morel in 2008. On the four hectares in Châteauneuf-du-Pape, they mainly grow Grenache and Syrah. The wines clearly bear the signature of Pierre-Henri Morel and at the same time benefit from Michel Chapoutier's experience and infrastructure.
Vegan
Tasting note
Intense garnet red. On the nose, aromas of black cherries, jam and essential herbs. Concentrated and elegant on the palate with very fine yet present tannins.
Culinary recommendation
Flaschenpost team tip: Gigondas AC goes well with roasted vegetables, barbecue and game.
