A must for connoisseurs, this powerful sparkling wine — Crémant d'Alsace Extra Brut AC! The winemaker from the French winery Domaine Albert Mann grows this wine in the Alsace countryside. Flaschenpöstler culinary tip: This sparkling wine is very good to serve with appetizers or crustaceans.
Tasting note
A sparkling wine with delicate mousse and fine perlage. Subtle aromas of pear, lemon zest and some stone fruit flatter the nose. On the palate, on the other hand, the delicate aromas of citrus and pear and the extraordinary freshness are pleasing. A crémant that is ideal for an aperitif but also goes very well with various dishes such as mussels or smoked salmon.
Culinary recommendation
Wonderful as an aperitif, with mussel dishes, smoked salmon, goat cheese, soft cheese of all kinds, strawberries or just in between meals...
Vinification
The grapes for this Crémant come from the Alsatian wine villages of Kientzheim and Wettolsheim and are cultivated according to a biodynamic principle. Crémant is produced like champagne using traditional bottle fermentation. It matures on lees for at least 18 months before disgorging. Only a minimal dosage is made so that the Crémant is pleasantly fresh and straightforward. The label was created by artist François Brütschy. It represents a kind of firework for the senses, which will hopefully also occur when drinking Crémant
