About the wine
The provocative red wine 2013 — Centurio Primitivo is the missing piece of the puzzle on your wine rack. The winemaker from the Italian winery Produttori Vini di Manduria has absolutely mastered his craft. Style and finesse are the hallmarks of this red wine, which originates in the fertile and sunny landscape of Puglia. The Flaschenpost team guarantees a culinary experience when you offer this Primitivo with spicy hard cheese or risotto.
Tasting note
Rich, dark brick red. Opulent scent of figs, cedarwood, dried flowers and salty sea air. Unmistakably a primitive close to the sea. Rich and soft, velvety tannins, the subtle acidity gives a good freshness, very beautiful and dense fruit extract, lingering with notes of tobacco and cedar.
Culinary recommendation
Our recommendation: The perfect drinking temperature for the red wine is slightly chilled 15°-17°C. Flaschenpost team tip: Centurio Primitivo goes perfectly with Brasato, red meat and spicy hard cheese.
Vinification
From very old tapestry vines in Manduria, harvested by hand, fermented in steel tanks, aged in large wooden barrels for 14 months.
