About the wine
This outstanding sparkling wine — Casa Vittorino Prosecco Valdobbiadene DOCG is in the truest sense of the word a hit right down to the last drop! Fertile and blooming landscapes give us these grapes, from which the winemaker from the Italian winery Astoria conjures up this sparkling wine with refinement and experience. Flaschenpost team tip: Combine this sparkling wine with light dishes or salmon pastes.
Tasting note
Eye: Stoh yellow. Nose: Complex bouquet of white flowers, honeydew melons and bananas paired with a fresh and spicy taste, a rich, elegant, pure Prosecco. Palate: Fine yeast fragrance, full-bodied, harmonious, dry.

Vinification
Light pressing with a short cold maceration of the berry skin. The primary fermentation takes place in steel vats at 18/19°C, with selected yeasts. The young wine rests on the noble lees for a few weeks; the subsequent phase consists of the second fermentation, which lasts 20/25 days at 18°C. The sparkling wine then rests on the lees for a few weeks. Bottling is followed by a further residence time in the bottle for final expansion.
