About the wine
Motivated by his enthusiasm for good wines, Andrea Davaz founded von Salis AG in 1994 with two friends. They themselves cultivate around two hectares of their own vines in the Bündner Herrschaft and purchase from over 60 winegrowers in Fläsch, Maienfeld, Jenins, Malans, Zizers and Trimmis. The Bündner grapes grow there on more than 50 hectares, making the wines something special. This one is uncomplicated, fresh and tasty. A real Graubünden, in fact.
Tasting note
A berry-fruity, fragrant, light and tasty wine. Fresh and delicate on the palate. Aromatic and soft with a subtle, seductive sweetness at the start and refreshing fine acidity on the finish.
Culinary recommendation
The apéro wine par excellence. Asian dishes go well with Blanc de Noir.
Vinification
The red Pinot Noir grapes are pressed immediately after de-straining and then pressed and aged like white wine in stainless steel tanks. By filtering the color particles, this wine is as white as white wine.
