About the wine
Ruby red, slightly brightening towards the edges. Fascinating nose of raspberry jam, plum compote, the scent of faded roses, also notes of cedarwood and a touch of gingerbread spice. Powerful and intense on the palate, cherry aromas and a fine honey sweetness, some cinnamon spice too, very complex and smooth; round tannins and a magnificent body with lots of depth characterize this red wine; very warm, long-lasting finale.
Tasting note
Intense purple with violet reflections. Multi-faceted and dense on the nose. With sweet, dark fruits, fine toasted notes, fine herbal spice and a bit of tobacco. Complex on the palate. A strong body with rich, present tannins and a playful acidity. Aromas of blackberries, some cedarwood, dark chocolate, bergamot and eucalyptus. The finale is wonderfully long and smooth.
Culinary recommendation
Excellent with beef, lamb and game. And with a spicy piece of pecorino, it's simply a revelation!
